Update

Last week we got assignments for a research paper in English class. We will be writing about an author and we have a list of three choices on the assignment sheet on what kind of paper we will be writing. I've chosen number 3, which is to trace a common idea or quality in two or more authors or poets, and my choice for an author was T.S. Eliot, although since I chose number 3 I guess I should have chosen more than one author. On Friday we had our class in the library so we could look at ways to access our information for our research papers on the internet. This is kind of like the research paper I did last semester, except this time it is a literary research paper. The paper is due on April 10nth. Also, on Friday in business class we got our second examinations and they are due back on Friday the 17nth. Also on Wednesday we got our mid-term take home exams in DPR 105. This was probably the hardest test I ever had in school! There were seventy questions and we had to get them all done in five days! I finally found the answers to all the questions except for one, which I had to take my best guess on, so fortunately I was able to had that in today. Right now I'm also partly through my Business 100 exam. So far I answered 14 out of 48 questions.

On Saturday I went to visit my grandparents with Dad. My grandfather is in a nursing home now and he looks so much different than he used to. He's very thin and it is hard to understand what he is saying. What I find really strange is that he was able to call us last Friday on March 3rd, which was only eight days before I saw him. But when my grandmother told him I was doing well in school, I knew I heard him say, "That's great."

Today it was so warm we were able to have a barbecue in the back yard. Then we toasted some marshmellows after dinner. At first we didn't have enough flame, but then the people were adding so many sticks that the fire was big, not too big but big enough to roast the marshmellows. Mom took some pictures of that so I will post them when they are on the computer.
