Accounting

I just finished my second accounting test and some of the questions were really hard. Some of them I just couldn't find in the book and others were just really confusing. There were also some others that were easy and I did manage to find the answers to in the book, but I still don't know how bad or how good my grade is going to be. Last time I did worse than I thought. It is true that you usually do better on open-book tests. I also had to do a really hard problem in the book where I had to write a final trial balance from an unadjusted trial balance and adjusting entries. The first time I did them, I knew I did it wrong because the credit and debit sides didn't balance. But I got Joanne's help with the problem and I understand it better. It makes it easier to think of the numbers on the debit side as positive numbers and the numbers on the credit side as negative numbers and to just do the math from there. But I do know that the problems are only going to get harder the further along in the book so I still wish I could understand it better.
