Finals

I have some good news. I got a 95 on the paper we did back in March, where we wrote letters to sell insurance quotes as one of the cases in the book. For some reason it just took a while for the teacher to grade those papers and give them back to us. I also got a 95 on a resume that we did. It was nice to get some A's when I got B's on a lot of the other papers. The school had been closed for five days before the finals because of an e-mail threat they got. It was closed from April 26 through May 1. The school re-opened on May 2 but nobody was allowed to bring their backpacks. Everybody had to carry their books and other possessions in clear plastic bags. On Tuesday I took the SAM PowerPoint exam and I got a 90 on it. It made me really excited to get a 90 especially after I didn't do so well on the Access and Excel SAM tests. I took the final exams for both of my classes on Monday. The Business final was in class and open book on Friday last week, but since I wasn't ready at the time the teacher let me take it in his office on Monday. I think I did pretty good on it since I had read the two final chapters twice. In class tests are always harder than take home tests, even if they are open book, because you don't have a lot of time to find the answers. Most final exams tend to be comprehensive, but this one was only on the last two chapters, 17 and 18, so that made it a lot easier.

What an excellent report, Elizabeth! I hope the two finals will have gone just as well (or even better!). Congratulations on a job well done.
