Tests
We had a math test on Friday and I got a 94%. I was worried about what I would get because I knew after I turned in the test that I got part b of question 8 wrong. But I only lost 6 points out of 100, and since I got an A on the first test this means I currently have an A in the course. The teacher told us that the way to figure out our grades is to add the number of points on both tests and divide by 2, and so that means I have 92.5 points so far, which is an A.
I didn't do nearly as well on my accounting test, however, but I did get a 68%, which is better than the last time. I would have gotten a C if I had only gotten one more question right, because there were 50 questions altogether. Also we were supposed to add 4 to what we got on the test, so that would amount to a C. The extra points that we add are what actually counts to the final grade.
I also had a Word test in the learning center last Thursday and I got 95 points out of 100 on that one. Then there was another Word test on Friday just this past week in class and this one was open book.
