Updates for the week

A couple of interesting things happened this week. On Wednesday I went to my friend David's graduation party. He was in both of my classes this past semester and he graduated this year. His mother invited me on Friday when they came into my store. I had a really great time there, and I got to meet a lot of his family and friends. Also, bowling started on Tuesday and I did a lot better than I normally do the first week. For my first game I bowled a 99, for the second game I bowled a 76, and for the third game I bowled a 110, which makes my average a 95. I usually don't bowl very well at all the first night.

Last night I had a little bit of an adventure. The manager who was closing last night told me I could leave a couple minutes early, and I went into the back for a while, and when I came back the whole store was closed and everyone was gone so I was locked in. The manager thought I had left already. As it turned out, all I had to do the whole time was leave through the emergency exit, which is also the receiving entrance where they unload the truck. But I stayed in the store for about 25 minutes not knowing how to get out. I even called Alan, one of the assistant mangers, but the didn't answer so I left him a voice mail. Later the alarm company called all of the managers until they got one of them to answer, I think because when I left through the back door the alarm went off.
