I had a great time at the fireworks on Saturday. They were spectacular, as usual. They had to be postponed to Saturday because of the rain. Last Saturday I went visit Gran with Dad. They were having their annual 4th of July parade where she lives. Gran and I got to ride in the parade in one of the cars. They have cars driving through the parade, with the people waving as they pass by. After the parade we watched a concert with many different bands performing. It was fun. They even had people dressed as Disney characters and singing songs from Disney movies.

Things have been changing at work. They are renovating the back of the store and they cleared some of the shelves to make room and I think they are making the store a little bigger. Another thing that changed is that Alan, the assistant manager, got transferred to a different store. It's a little sad because I always liked Alan, he was always such a nice guy. Strangely enough, we will not be getting a new manager for another month. When Joe and Todd were transferred, we got new managers right away, although I think that was because what they did was just switch stores with the people who came in their place.
